On the 13th of December 2023, innocent silverdoor staff members were asked to meet at a random street location in London to take part in a secret Xmas activity.

 

What happened next could only be described as...magical. 


silverdoor was booked into a Recording Studio to record a Double A-side Christmas Single. 


The results can be listened to, laughed at and enjoyed below! 


A1 - DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS?


Band Aid was the collective name of a charity supergroup featuring mainly British and Irish famous musicians and recording artists.


silverdoor is the name of a digital marketing agency that spent two hours in a recording studio doing their very best.

Oh, and as we got into the festive spirit (and festive spirits...) we decided to make it a double A-side with this version of Slade's beloved Christmas classic!




We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did making it. We will not be allowed in a recording studio ever again.

We picked up six nominations for this year's UK Social Media Awards thanks to our work with Jägermeister and London Fields Brewery, as well as silverdoor itself being shortlisted for 'Best Small Agency'.


Our social media work for three Jägermeister campaigns each picked up nominations - With the #SaveTheNight campaign shortlisted for Best Use Of Social Media In A Crisis, a collaboration with Deliveroo being nominated for Best Integrated Campaign and our ongoing promotion of the brand's Pre With Us initiative one of four finalists for the 'Best Long-Term Strategic Use Of Social Media'.


The work we've done this year with London Fields Brewery on improving their online presence and increasing e-commerce sales was shortlisted for 'Best Low Budget Campaign' while our Head Of Digital Ciarán Steward was shortlisted for the 'Mark Hanson Award' recognising the brightest and most promising social media communicator under 30 for the second year running.
